1 - Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. 2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. 3 - Go... to flickr.com and click on "explore the last se...ven days". Third picture no matter... what it is, will be your album cover. 4 - Use photoshop or similar (picnik.com is a free online photo editor) to put it all together. 5 - Post it with this text in the caption Entry Update! 19/02/2011
Just updated my entire website! Not sure how I feel about this new dark theme? Opinions would be great! Also not too sure about the slideshow feature on the 3D stills page? Should I change it back to the photo gallery like on the Artwork page? Yay/Nay? http://www.sabotagetimes.com/sabotage/videos?id=976&tit=Amazing.+How+to+Suspend+Water+Without+a+Cup That's totally mental! Sorry if you've seen this but I'm off to practice it. Hope mum doesn't get mad I Am Number Four Review 18/02/2011
Below is my film review featured on http://www.inside-cinema.com/ Stars Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Dianna Agron, Teresa Palmer ‘I Am Number Four’ is directed by D.J Caruso (Disturbia) and based on the science fiction novel co-written by James Frey. Having watched the trailer, I could not help but to expect the plot would involve some special effects, loud sounds, a couple of ‘cheap’ [shocks] and a probable sideline romance story, which is exactly what I got. The film pulls out all the stops to attract an audience – handsome protagonist, superhero powers, romance, fancy bright lights, accompanied by loud bangs and action explosions. It seemed much like a sci-fi take on the same material that made ‘Twilight’ an international sensation. The plotline felt a little bit contrived, almost as though I was in a massive whirlpool of ‘Twilight’, ‘Buffy the vampire slayer’ and ‘Roswell’ spectacles. It doles out a shameless amount of “attractions” to reel in the audience. The stereotype characters like the new guy with a secret, the attractive love interest with a twist, the know-all sci-fi geek, the football jock and cartoon-like alien villain failed in the [empathy department]. Despite that, the film succeeded in some respects, it did not fail to entertain and particularly in the fact that it had a sense of humour and some exciting action scenes. The special effects and animation was exciting and convincingly presented, if perhaps a little over the top; it still successfully accompanied its cliché storyline. The film is a mixed bag of entertaining and corny with its CG monsters, animal sidekicks and cartoon villains. I am almost surprised and slightly refreshed that the films textbook storyline did not slap you in the face with a jaw-dropping cliff-hanger but with an emotive trail off leaving the viewers with an understanding that future instalments are on the way. ‘I Am Number Four’ contains all the makings of the formula to be an exciting hit. Despite the few cheap gimmicks, its purpose to entertain is achieved making it a film I wouldn’t mind seeing progress into a [sequel]. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Basically, in a nutshell, I was on the edge of my seat, but not sure if it was because I needed to wee the entire way through Signing out, Jen Nottingham 01/09/2010
Nottingham has lovely architecture, it's nice to see old buildings still being maintained. It definitely gives the town lots of character An idea 02/08/2010
As of tomorrow, I am embarking on the preliminary sketches for a new project. I won't reveal anything yet but I think I might call it 'close to home'. Let's see if I can stick to that 6 months from now English Summer 29/06/2010
Being the summer holidays, one tends to lose the concept of what day or time it is! Being in England, its crazy to see that at 10pm, it looks like its 7pm in Malaysia! I've been here for about nearly 6 years now and its always a nice to surprise (especially if you realized you've slept in till 1pm and you still haven't wasted your day) Managed to cycle to Christchurch from Bournemouth, had some dinner in Christchurch town and managed to cycle back without my legs dropping off. It has taken us about 5-6 hours and has been one of my nicest times in Bournemouth I have ever had. It's nice to associate the town your in with something pleasant rather than a constant hours of negated, mind-busting, work. It is definitely better for mind, body and soul as I don't think I have ever been so productive to be able to come home and still be able to look up job applications, correct my CV and write in my blog. | ArchivesApril 2011 © Copyright Jennifer Lim 2011 - All rights reserved
